Erin Kaphan.
Master Barber.
I began my cosmetology career in 2010 as a student of the prestigious Artistic Academy by DePasquale Salons. After graduation, I continued to develop my craft under several mentors — including Vaughn Acord of V76, E-Z Blade Shaving Products, and Eric Altomare of Eric Alt Salons.
Along the way I worked as an educator and stylist with Baxter of California, styling for Men's Fashion Week. Those experiences shaped what I call “Simple Luxury” — precision, calm, and genuine connection in every appointment.

In early 2026, I began my formal trichology education through The Scalp Society — one of the leading trichology education platforms for hair and scalp professionals.
This training deepens my expertise in scalp health and clinical consultation — bringing a new, science-based dimension to the work I do at The Barber Room. Trichology consultations are now available alongside all grooming services, guided by the same standard of care I have applied to my craft for over a decade.
